A little bit about me

I'm a writer, data nerd and digital communications professional with a B.A. in political communication from The George Washington University.
Previously, I worked as an advertising associate at Revolution Messaging where I designed, trafficked and saw through digital advertising campaigns for our progressive clients. Prior to Revolution, I served as a media fellow for Precision Network, working with clients to plan and buy digital media that optimized success for their campaigns. Before Precision, I served as a digital fellow at Fenton Communications, where I supported the team conducting digital audits, social listening scans, landscape analyses and managing the Fenton Twitter account, among other tasks.
During college, I took advantage of living in the nation's capital, interning in the federal government and covering local politics as a staff writer for the GW Hatchet. Later, I worked for at a year a mental health nonprofit where I managed social media accounts, created graphics and more.
Advocacy
In college, I worked tirelessly to promote an understanding of mental health issues on college campuses and to empower others to speak openly about their struggles. Through my work with Proud2BMe and the student organization, SPEAK GW, I seized opportunities to positively impact the lives of those living with eating disorders and help them to do the same for others. I served as president of SPEAK GW for two years (2013-2015) and worked for one year as an intern in the communications department of Active Minds, Inc., a nonprofit that focuses on suicide prevention among college students.
